It should go without saying that Muslims around the world is in a terrible situation. At the Kuala Lumpur Summit in 2019, even the leaders of some of the largest Muslim countries endorsed this statement. Mahathir, the prime minister of Malaysia, had likewise demanded a workable resolution to this problem.
Just to give you an idea, conflict and foreign intervention have resulted in the displacement of 25 million people from the OIC countries alone. Genocide forced around 1 million Rohingya people to leave their homeland. The same is true of the Uyghurs, who number approximately 1 million and 800,000, respectively. And there is absolutely no need to describe the situation of African Muslims.
There is no quick fix for these problems. However, someone has to begin somewhere. According to MATW France, it is our moral obligation to offer assistance to individuals who are unable to care for themselves. We understand that it is not the duty of one individual. Instead, each of us should step forward and claim our rightful share. Therefore, we are looking for French contributors to help our MATW charity in whatever way they can.
